The greatest thing keeping us from the truth is our lack of willingness to look for it.

You’d have to think it would be just about impossible to deceive the world about a catastrophic event like 9/11 because everything happened in broad daylight in front of thousands of people wouldn’t you?

But maybe it’s just the opposite. Maybe it’s the fact that thousands saw it in person and millions watched it over and over on TV that has made it so easy for us to be fooled. The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it, as Hitler said.

Most of us are desperate to believe what we’re told. We think that if we question everything we see and hear, then we’ll never know what’s real and what’s not. This fact is taken advantage of by those who seek to deceive us. They manipulate us and we let them.

And people who do question are marginalized by being called “conspiracy theorists.” With those fringe people out of the way, the rest of us can remain smug and complacent.

There were thousands of eyewitnesses to the collapse of the World Trade Center and the crash at the Pentagon on Sept. 11. Millions more followed the events on TV. The media led us straight to the official story. They didn’t question and neither did we.

Constitution Party Candidate Jeff Becker Questions WTC7 Collapse in US Senate Debate; Calls for New Senate Investigation of 9/11

Jeff Becker, running for Senate in West Virginia in the Constitution Party, raised questions about the “foreknowledge” of WTC Building 7′s collapse on September 11th during a live televised debate that was carried nationally on C-SPAN. Indeed, even Becker’s campaign website announces proudly at the very top of his homepage that he “calls for new Senate investigation of 9/11.”

During the October 18 debate for the special election to replace the deceased Sen. Robert Byrd, Jeff Becker responded to a question about the “continued build-up of troops in Afghanistan” by telling the audience that “We need to first take a look at what happened on 9/11. There were actually three buildings that collapsed on September 11th.”

Becker, who noted himself as an engineer, went on to give an extended explanation concerning the impossibility of WTC 7′s collapse, as well as the contradiction between the laws of physics and the government’s official account [links added to suppliment the references to fact in his statement; emphasis in bold also added]:

“Building 7 was two blocks away from the twin towers– and that’s important to consider because it was not rained on by any debris. It was just a 40-story building. And at 5 p.m. on 9/11, Jane Standley, reporter from the BBC was standing right in front, at Ground Zero, and reported that Building 7 had collapsed, when in fact you could see it over her shoulder. And then, 20 minutes later, it did collapse. This is foreknowledge, and it needs to be investigated.”

“Additionally, Larry Silverstein, the owner of World Trade Center 7 Complex, before 9/11 had taken out a multi-billion dollar insurance policy to protect his property against a terrorist attack. And then, in 2002, on a PBS station interview, he said that he gave the order to “pull-it.” Pull-it is a controlled demolition term. More evidence of foreknowledge. And these are facts, you can watch the interview, you can look at the BBC footage. How did the British know 20 minutes ahead of time that this was going to happen? This needs to be investigated, there is a preponderance of anomalies surrounding the events on 9/11. Over 1,000 degree’d-and-licensed Architects and Engineers have looked at the information, and there’s just too much information that doesn’t make sense with the official story. The only way for the official story to make sense is if the laws of physics had changed on that day. And I’m an engineer, and I can tell you that they did not.“

Jeff Becker was mocked by establishment blogs like FireDogLake and Little Green Footballs for these statements, however he was able to communicate a powerful call to attention regarding the Building 7 issue without interruption.

Becker has also been a noted critic of the Federal Reserve, publicly supporting a full audit “to hold this shadowy organization accountable.”

“As your next U.S. Senator, I will fight for passage of Senate Bill S604, the Federal Reserve Sunshine Act, which will require a full audit of the Fed for the first time in its history. I advocate a return to hard money and an end to banker bailouts. It is time to hold this shadowy organization accountable.”

Though he is undoubtedly considered a “long shot” (typically, he is not even mentioned in this CNN poll, and he had to fight for enough signatures to get on the ballot), in West Virginia– where the other Senator is Jay Rockefeller– a candidate for Senate who would speak openly about Constitutional issues, the Federal Reserve and what really happened on 9/11 is a welcome sign of real “change” indeed.

We need more candidates of all stripes to have the courage to speak out on these important issues.

Thanks very much for sending the 13th edition of Global Outlook, which is a great read. I've read every article in it. As well as discussing the various military-style FFO's throughout modern history, it was also excellent that you included articles on the finance and pharmaceutical industries and their deceptive agendas. There is so much going on in the world today that screams out for a more critical analysis, such as is contained in your publication.

One of the most colorful theories comes from Gen. Hamid Gul, former director of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI. He insists that 9/11 was staged by Israel’s Mossad and a cabal of rightwing US Air Force generals.

I inspected the ruins of the New York’s Twin Towers, atop which I often dined, right after the attack. Downtown Manhattan was enveloped by a hideous, stinking miasma from the attack. I have never smelled anything so awful. It took me days to scrub the foul odor off my body. As a native New Yorker, I was shaken to the core by 9/11 – but hardly surprised, as I had predicted a major attack on the US nine days earlier.

While visiting the Pentagon to consult on the Mideast, I also inspected its outside wall hit by the third hijacked aircraft.
I saw photos of the impact site and could not understand what had happened to all the aircraft wreckage. There was almost none.

PEARL HARBOR, PROVES 9-11 FRAUD

Here we are again at the “day that will live in infamy.” I have a modest thought I have seen nowhere else. Let’s look at the horror again, through the eyes of Robert B. Stinnett, who spent seventeen years going through more than 200,000 documents and interviews about it. His book is Day of Deceit: The Truth About FDR and Pearl Harbor, New York, Touchstone (S & S), 2001.

It is crucially important to establish who Robert Stinnett is. In the early years after the devastating attack on Pearl Harbor, through one utterly phony “investigation” after another, Roosevelt’s Socialist idolaters swore up and down that he had known absolutely nothing about it. The possibilities that he knew it was coming and did nothing, or, even worse, that he conspired to arrange it, were labeled psychotic fantasies only a psychiatrist could call serious.

All these years later, however, so much slime has oozed forth that Roosevelt worshippers now stand up to their eyeballs in it. They can’t deny it. So, now they take a totally different position, a diametrically different position. Now they say, yes, Roosevelt knew about it, he even arranged it, because the American people at the time were too dumb to know they needed to be in the war – they needed a big enough shock to trick them into it – so Roosevelt arranged it for our own good.

And it is important to establish that Robert Stinnett is one of these people. He is not a “Roosevelt hater.” He idolizes Roosevelt. He is a decorated veteran of World War II and therefore, like other veterans of that nightmare, has considerable emotion invested in it. Here’s the way he puts it in the preface:

“As a veteran of the Pacific War, I felt a sense of outrage as I uncovered secrets that had been hidden from Americans for more than fifty years. But I understood the agonizing dilemma faced by President Roosevelt. He was forced to find circuitous means to persuade an isolationist America to join in a fight for freedom. He knew this would cost lives. How many, he could not have known.

Do We Know the Truth About 9/11?

The upcoming 9th anniversary of September 11th brings little solace for the millions of citizens worldwide who have serious questions concerning the official account of what happened that day.

Usually when there is a monumental failure in our government’s ability to protect our nation, a complete investigation immediately ensues. Yet in the case of the 9/11 tragedy, Bush opposed any probe into the attacks for well over a year until mounting pressure from the victim’s family members forced him to address the issue.

Once the 9/11 Commission was finally formed, Philip Zelikow was put on as its executive director. Zelikow also penned the controversial Bush Doctrine, a policy which allowed preemptive invasion of any country in the world if potential for a future threat existed.

Chairman of the commission, Thomas Keane, later charged in a book that the commission was “set up to fail.” Furthermore, Bush and Cheney refused to testify to the Commission separately and under oath. Crucial witness testimony and evidence was also deliberately withheld from most of the commission members.

However, once the Commission’s report was done, the history books had been written and the case had been closed. 9/11 was a surprise hit on our country. Nobody in any level of government saw it coming and NORAD, our North American air defense command, scrambled jets into the skies for two hours in a state of confusion while planes were being hijacked and crashed into iconic government buildings. The intense jet fuel fire that ensued in both towers caused the steel to weaken at the points of impact, causing both towers to completely crumble into dust.

The assault on 9/11 was a colossal and completely unpredictable blow. Case closed.
